After 30 days of your request to delete your account, it will be permanently deleted, and you will not be able to retrieve your information. The material is still subject to the Instagram Terms of Use and Data Policy during those 30 days, and it is no longer available to other people using Instagram.

You may retrieve your deleted material for 30 days by going to Settings > Account > Recently Deleted in the most recent version of the Instagram app. You can either recover or permanently erase it from there.

Anything you save on Instagram is associated with your account. As a result, unless you remove your Instagram account, your archived posts and stories are secure. You will be able to access your archived data when you reinstall the app.

Open the file manager on your Android device and go to the pictures folder. Now look for the Instagram folder; it’s possible that you’ll find your deleted photos in here. Launch the Photos app on iOS, and search for the Recently Deleted folder.

When you’re done, tap the profile tab in the bottom right corner (person icon) Select Settings. Tap Recently Deleted (rolling out now, check back soon if not available). Choose a post/video/story > choose Restore.
