To uninstall and reinstall Skype on desktop, go to the Start Menu and find Skype. Right-click on the application and select Uninstall. Once the application has been uninstalled, you can install it again from your computer’s app store.
To uninstall Skype on a Mac, first go to the Applications folder and find Skype. Then move it to the Trash (or drag and drop). Next, open Finder and click on Empty Trash.To reinstall Skype, download the latest version from their website and install it.
If you have Skype open, just close it and then go to Applications > Utilities > Activity Monitor. Now find the Skype process and click on it. Hold down the Command key on your keyboard and press the letter “q” at the same time. This will quit the process and uninstall it from your Mac.
