At the top left, click Menu. Click Your contributions. Reviews may be found here. Next to the review, you wish to modify or delete, click More. Select Edit review or Delete review and follow the on-screen directions.
After you submit a review, it typically takes Yelp 24 hours to one week to examine the request. If Yelp’s moderators determine that the comment should be removed, it will be immediately deleted and the user notified that their review failed to meet its standards.
You can also delete your Yelp account for a variety of reasons, including if you have any unresolved issues with the company. Any content, including reviews, photos, or tips you’ve uploaded on the site will be removed when you cancel your account.
Before you delete them, read this. The Consumer Fairness Review Act was passed in December, placing new restrictions on what companies may include in form contracts that impede customers’ ability to submit honest reviews of goods and services.
The most common reason for a review to be taken down from a business page is that it is fraudulent. While the site does not take sides in factual disputes, Yelp’s moderators may examine suspicious reviews that have been flagged and reported.
