Open the settings menu on your phone. Select Accounts or Users and Accounts, depending on your device. Tap the Gmail account you wish to remove. Tap Remove Account to finalize your selection. To verify your decision, tap Remove Account.

Tap the “Clear cache” button to delete any Google account caches. To remove all of your apps, open the Settings app and scroll down until you reach Apps. Select the All tab. Look for the “Google App” and click on it. To erase all of your data, go to Applications > Manage applications > Clear all data.
