Open the Mail app and select the inbox you’d like to clear your unread count from. tap Edit on the upper-right corner of the screen. Choose Trash All or its less-fun equivalent, Mark All.

To access the Mail app, open the Google Play Store on your phone. Tap My Apps. Search for ‘mail,’ then select it from your list of applications. Select Settings from the drop-down menu next to ‘mail.’ Go to settings mail, contact, calendars, and make sure the Ask before deleting setting is turned on.

To select and delete multiple emails in the message list, click the first email, hold down the Shift key while clicking the last email, and then press Delete.

Unfortunately, there’s no convenient way to remove them right away. Instead of using a handy button, you’ll have to press and hold the Shift key instead of clicking it. Select the first email by clicking it, then continue to hold down Shift and click the last email. Then click Delete.

Go to your Inbox folder. On the top right, tap on “Edit.” Select the first email on your list. Hold down the “Move” button. while keeping the “Move” button pressed, deselect the first E-Mail. put away all of your fingertips from the screen and wait a few seconds.
